Tarn’s love for animals started from a young age with fostering sick animals and caring for abandoned animals. After graduating from Republic Polytechnic with a Biotechology Diploma and then pursuing a Specialist Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Tarn worked with companion animals mainly. She enjoys assisting in surgeries, pre and post-op patient management and animal husbandry.

Her love for baking blossomed into an eggless home-baked online business (@kaursbakedgoods). Like her spirit animal – Butterfly, Tarn is adaptable, curious and always eager to learn new skills. She is learning to play Sikh traditional instruments such as the dilruba, rabab and tabla.

Her most unforgettable experience was a cat that had a rough recovery and unfortunately kissed* Tarn on her left hand, which resulted in a month-long down time and permanently leaving a long scar.
